On our way to Hoi An, wee will stop at various wonderful locations, such as Man Thai Fishing village, My Khe Beach, Da Nang’s Dragon bridge or Marble Mountain.  In comparison with the standard group tour offered by your cruise, we can be flexible rather than rigid and we take into account what you want to see and do.

On this tour, you will experience the life and culture of the rural Hoi An people and eat locally grown food served in traditional style food.  This tour is also included visiting Hoi An’s famous ancient city and learn more history of the sites and see for yourself how beautiful it is!

DESCRIPTION:

Our professional tour local English speaking  guide and driver pick you up from outside of  TIEN SA port.

(Please provide us with your Pick up & Drop off Time so we can ensure we meet your cruise ship schedule.  It is easy to depart the port, by taking the FREE  GREEN SHUTTLE BUS from the ship to the outside gate and your guide and I will be waiting.  We will be holding an A4 sign with your name printed on it.

After we meet and introductions are made, we will take you on the coastal road and stop at Man Thai Fishing Village and My Khe Beach ( formerly called China Beach), the iconic Dragon Bridge and Marble Mountain, so you can take  beautiful photos of the modern city of Da Nang.

We then continue on Cam Thanh village. During Vietnam – America War, the village acted as a shelter for locals and a hiding place for soldiers. On our way there, you will also see the ever changing colourful rice fields,  a forest of water palms, and shrimp and crab farms.

After taking a break here for a cold drink provided by a local family , we start our next adventure, visiting the palm forest and learning how to row the traditional round bamboo basket boats.  With the help of an experienced boat person, you will learn how to row these little boats, while visiting the Water Coconut Jungle. While you are in the channels between the palms you can try and catch crabs and give fishing Vietnamese style a try.

You will then enjoy a 30 minutes Foot Massage. 

After all these activities, it is definitely time for a relaxed lunch, which will be prepared by a local family using local organically grown ingredients and transformed into authentic Vietnamese local food.

After lunch, we will take you to the Hoi An Ancient Village where we will walk the lovely lantern filled streets, taking you to the  listed Japanese Bridge, an Ancient family house, and the Chinese Assembly Hall, as well as giving you time to do some shopping that Hoi An is famous for.

After our wander around the Ancient Village, we then begin our drive back to the Port where we will ensure that we have you back at least one hour or more before your departure.
